The Varsity Blue team beat St. Margaret's Varsity B team 41-11 in a tenacious game marked by aggressive play by both teams. After a sluggish start in the first quarter by each team, tough teamdefense by OLOH lead to some points off turn-overs and fast breaks to pull ahead 18-5 at halftime. The second quarter saw OLOH outscore St. Margaret's 12-2 as most of the points were shots close to the basket as a result of a pressing defense and great anticipation by all OLOH players. A great turn-out by parents, teachers and class-mates led a clamorous cheering section in a great show of support for the team and school.

OLOH advanced to the finals by beating St. Michael's in the semi-final game. The season saw team and individual improvements throughout the year that lead to great team play in the month of February to lead up to the Championship game.
