On Saturday May 14, 2011 the Our Lady of Hope Track and Field Team won the GCAL Divisional Championship at Timber Creek High School.  OLH’s team was comprised of first through eighth graders, in a team championship where the boys and girls faced teams from St. Michael’s, Sacred Heart Vineland, and Holy Angels.  OLH’s runners had an outstanding day, with strong performances from many of the children individually, and in relay teams! The final score was OLH 268, St. Michael’s 191, Sacred Heart Vineland 170 and Holy Angels 113.  This was the team’s fourth consecutive Divisional Championship (St. Jude won the Divisional Championship in 2007).

The top four finishers in each race at the Divisional Championships qualified for the Meet of Champions this Saturday, May 21st at Woodbury High School.  Runners from Division A and Division B compete in the Meet of Champions for the top places in the entire league. OLH had 35 members of the track team qualify for the Meet of Champions either in a running event, field event or both, plus three relay teams
