The day before the meet on Sunday we had practice early in the morning and we ran very far, so that’s how Coach Vince knew we were ready. The meet was held at Timber Creek on a beautiful Sunday morning, the best weather this season.  Maybe that’s why everyone ran so well.  Everybody did their best and many runners got their best times. Our team is learning to work together and everyone showed team spirit this week by cheering on his or her teammates at the finish.

Timber Creek is a good Cross Country course because it is mostly wooded except for the last part when you run around the “weed loop”. The length of the course is about a mile and a half, but it seems longer because there are many turns. The meet was fun and exciting and possibly our best meet.
