Boy's Varsity Team comes up 90 feet short!

PostDateIconSunday, 14 June 2009 19:00

The Boy's Varsity Baseball Team lost a heartbreaking Championship game against Berlin Community School. On Wed., June 3rd the game was suspended because of rain and lightning. At the time it was delayed, Hope was down 1-0 in the fourth.

Even though this game was started from the beginning, the results were similar. Berlin won the game by a 1-0 score. The game was filled with incredible pitching and some great fielding gems. There were four plays at the plate. Hope had some chances as they left the bases loaded a couple times and a man on third when the final out was made. This was a very tight defensive game filled with superb plays by both teams. Though short on runs, there was no shortage on excitement.
