In late January, the Our Lady of Hope Varsity Girls and their families took a road trip to the historic Palestra on the University of Pennsylvania Campus. The girls enjoyed Division I Women's basketball up close and personal as Harvard held off U. of P. in hard fought game.

The game was broken open when sharp shooter Christine Mattera from Camden Catholic and St. Peter's Merchantville went five for five on three pointers and followed with a deuce. She went six for six in the game for seventeen points and only dribbled the ball twice.

After the game the Harvard Coach and players talked to the girls and posed for a couple pictures. The team work and intensity displayed that night has been a big part of the success of the girls Varsity team as they finished their season strong and secured a playoff birth.
