3rd and 4th grade instructional Basketball league rules
- Never any press
- 28.5 ball
- Zone defense
- Defense must stay within 3 point line
- Cannot collapse more than 2 people on a ball handler (except inside the paint)
- Coaches should be on the floor
- No fast breaks
- 6 minute quarters
- Score gets erased at halftime/ no W-L records
- No paid referees- coaches on floor expected to ref games
* Intent of the league is to teach players basic game skills and offense/defensive schemes
All coaches are expected to work with the opposing coach on facilitating a learning environment and adhereing to these rules during the games
